The film remains a true classic!!

Jerry O`Connell finds it hard to watch Stand By Me
Stand By Me star Jerry O’Connell said he finds it hard to watch the movie on its 25th anniversary.
The 37-year-old actor was just 11 years old when he starred in the film with Wil Wheaton, River Phoenix and Corey Feldman.
The surviving members of the cast were recently reunited to mark the 25th anniversary of the film.
However he admitted that he can’t watch the flick any more as it’s too hard to see his old friend Phoenix, who died aged 23.
He said to UK newspaper Daily Record: ‘We had a great reunion. It was really emotional. It was fun to see Rob, Corey and Wil and to think that all these years later, people are still into that movie is an honour for us.
‘We talked about how much fun we had making the movie, how we all went to see The Goonies with Corey Feldman in it at the local theatre and the night we rented The Texas Chainsaw Massacre.
‘But that being said, it’s also really sad because River Phoenix passed away.
‘It was a great experience to make it but I’ve trouble watching the film because at the end of it, River’s character dies and it’s just a little bit too emotional for me. I’m just not able to do it.’
