For Some Reason “Red Dragon” Gets A Triple Release
Hannibal Lecter makes his third outing in the prequel to Silence of the Lambs, Red Dragon. Universal Studios Home Entertainment is preparing no less than three releases for the title in April.
Will Graham has been called out of early retirement to catch a serial killer, known by authorities as “The Tooth Fairy”. He knows that the best route to the mind of a psychopath is through the mind of another and he must ask for help from the prisoner who brought him the greatest difficulty, Hannibal Lecter. But The Tooth Fairy is getting info on Graham as well setting up a tricky game of cat and mouse.
Two barebones versions of the film will be released, on in fullscreen and one in anamorphic widescreen. A seperate two disc special edition will be available, also in widescreen. No other details are available.
Arriving on April Fool’s Day, the regular and special editions will cost $26.95 and $34.95 respectively.
