MGM Gasses Up KNIGHT RIDER Spoof
MGM has acquired the rights to Ron Anderson’s spec script WHEELS OF FURY, a film that is described as a cross between AUSTIN POWERS and KNIGHT RIDER. The story focuses on an ’80s cop whose partner is a talking car. After waking up from a coma 16 years later, “hijinx ensue.” David Heyman (HARRY POTTER) will produce. WHEELS may face a bit of competition from its source material, as Revolution Studios is working on a feature film adaption of the KNIGHT RIDER tv series.
