Prior to Friday’s opening, Box Office pundits were saying that “Harry Potter and The Sorcerer’s Stone” would be the first film to break the $100 million dollar mark for a non- Holiday weekend. Now, while it is true that Harry Potter has smashed all of the industry’s records, it didn’t do over $100 million. So is it a success?
Thankfully, the movie is good. So to that end, it is quite successful.
Solo Cure
The Cure founder Robert Smith is working on his first solo album. It’s a collection of collaborations with several of his friends including members of Siouxsie & the Banshees. By the way, The Cure’s double Greatest Hits collection hit stores on November 13, 2001.
