Paul Feig reveals Ghostbusters character names
Who you gonna call? Erin Gilbert, Jillian Holtzmann, Abby Yates and Patty Tolan, as it turns out. On Saturday, director Paul Feig revealed the four character names for the paranormal exterminators in Ghostbusters.
Feig tweeted the names after being asked to identify the characters by a Ghostbusters fan account. Melissa McCarthy will play Yates, with Kristin Wiig as Gilbert, Kate McKinnon as Holtzmann, and Leslie Jones as Tolan. (Feig had previously tweeted McKinnon’s character name on Friday.)
The director has used his account to update fans on the progress of his reboot throughout production, released still photos of the Ghostbusters’ car, costumes and proton packs. Ghostbusters is out next summer.
