That is great to hear!

Bruce Willis confirmed to return as Hartigan in ‘Sin City: A Dame to Kill For’

It’s official: Bruce Willis is coming back for Robert Rodriguez’s “Sin City: A Dame to Kill For.” Willis’ character Hartigan died in the first “Sin City” film, but since this new movie actually works largely as a prequel, there is room for Willis again this time around.

“Bruce is back, you’ll be seeing him,” Rodriguez confirms to MTV News. He also says that newly announced additions Juno Temple and Jeremy Piven have already shot their scenes, while Joseph Gordon-Levitt has yet to film his part as a “very cocky gambler.”

Willis isn’t the only “Sin City” cast member who will return in “A Dame to Kill For.” Mickey Rourke, Jaime King, Rosario Dawson and Jessica Alba have all confirmed that they’ll be back for more of the stylized comic book world. There have been some replacements as well: Clive Owen has been swapped for Josh Brolin and Dennis Haysbert will stand in for the late Michael Clarke Duncan.

“Sin City: A Dame to Kill For” is due out in 3D on October 4.
