Miranda Lambert Sets November Release for ‘Four the Record’
After picking up her first Grammy award, being named ACM Entertainer of the Year and marrying fellow country star Blake Shelton, Miranda Lambert will continue her stellar year with the release of her fourth full-length, “Four the Record,” on Nov. 1 through Columbia Nashville.

“‘Four The Record’ has so many meanings,” says Lambert in a statement. “I love the play on words and my records always have a little crime in them and this is the fourth record of my career. This album pushes the limits for me in many ways and I collaborate with friends and heroes. It builds on my previous albums with a whole new flair.”
The forthcoming album follows 2009 full-length “Revolution,” which spawned hits like “The House That Built Me” and “White Liar” and has sold 1.3 million copies, according to Nielsen SoundScan. The disc was named Album of the Year at both the CMA Awards and ACM Awards earlier this year.

Along with “Four the Record,” Lambert will release “Hell on Heels,” a new effort by the trio Pistol Annies that features Lambert along with singer-songwriters Ashley Monroe and Angaleena Presley. The group performed the title track to the album on “Good Morning America” last Friday (July 8).

“How lucky is it that I have two amazing singer songwriter friends and together we make an unstoppable musical force,” says Lambert. “We say things in our music that women all across the country are thinking. This is a great creative outlet for me as a solo artist and it’s cool as hell! ‘Hell On Hells’ will knock your socks off.”
