John eyeing Gaga ëBondí duet
Sir Elton John is delighted to hear rumours linking Lady Gaga to the next James Bond movie theme – and he is keen to record the song with her.
Film bosses are said to have picked the Poker Face hitmaker as the front runner to record the lead track for the upcoming 007 movie, which will be directed by Sam Mendes and is due for release in 2011.
The Rocket Man is adamant Gaga is the perfect choice to sing the Bond theme, and he wants to head into the studio, too.
He says, “I’m really pleased that Lady Gaga is up for the theme tune. She’s fantastic and it would be amazing to do a duet.”
Jack White and Alicia Keys recorded the first duet for the James Bond theme with Another Way to Die, which was featured in 2008’s Quantum of Solace.
