Kelly Clarkson, The Go-Go’s join Lilith Fair lineup
The Lilith Fair tour continues to stock up on star power for its 2010 return, adding Kelly Clarkson, The Go-Go’s and Court Yard Hounds (featuring Dixie Chicks Emily Robinson and Martie Maguire) to an already packed lineup.
Other new names announced by organizers include The Bangles, Martina McBride and Suzanne Vega. The number of cities the tour will visit this summer has increased as well, with the addition of Birmingham, AL, to the rolling event’s itinerary.
The list of all 33 cities is included below; dates and venues have not yet been announced.
As previously reported, the 2010 Lilith Fair tour marks the event’s return after an 11-year hiatus. Previously confirmed artists include Sarah McLachlan, Norah Jones, Cat Power, Mary J. Blige, Sheryl Crow, Colbie Caillat, Erykah Badu, Ke$ha, Tegan and Sara, Heart, Miranda Lambert and Metric.

Founded in 1997 by McLachlan, along with Nettwerk Music Group’s Dan Fraser and Terry McBride and New York talent agent Marty Diamond, the traveling music festival, consisting solely of female solo acts and female-led bands, ran yearly through 1999, and raised more than $10 million for national and local charities, according to a press release.
