HANSON Depart Label Over Album Disagreement
HANSON have announced their departure from ISLAND DEF JAM Records.
The band, who are currently wrapping up work on their new album, “Underneath,” reportedly ended their relationship with the label over disagreeing on their musical direction.
The new record is co-written in large part by Matthew Sweet and produced by Danny Kortchmar (Bon Jovi, James Taylor), and features Michelle Branch on backing vocals on one of the tracks.
