Celine’s new album due in March
Celine Dion’s forthcoming album, “One Heart,” will be pumping into Canadian retail stores on March 25, Sony Music Canada confirms.
The album comes out on the same day as Dion’s three-year stint at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas kicks off, and almost one year after the release of her last studio effort, “A New Day Has Come.”
“I Drove All Night” will be the album’s first single and should hit Canadian airwaves in the next few weeks, according to Dion’s web site. The Roy Orbison classic, written by Billy Steinberg and Tom Kelly, is the only track listing information disclosed so far.
The Canadian chanteuse took home an American Music Award for Favorite Artist — Adult Contemporary on Monday night, and is scheduled to kick off Super Bowl XXXVII in San Diego on January 26, with her rendition of “God Bless America.”
“A New Day Has Come” debuted at No. 1 in Canada, and has sold over 548,000 copies since its release, according to Nielsen SoundScan. Dion has sold more than 150 million records during the course of her career.
