Henson Leaves Muppet HQ
Brian Henson, son of the late Jim Henson, announced Thursday that he is stepping down from his post of chairman of Jim Henson Co., the company that brings you Kermit the Frog. Henson said he had been thinking about the move since German media giant EM.TV & Merchandising bought the company two years ago. He announced his intentions in a company-wide email, reiterating the company’s values, such as “When in doubt, throw penguins.” Essentially, the company should never take itself too seriously.
