THE LORD OF TEH RINGS- THE FELLOWSHIP OF THE RING 2-Disc DVD bows in August, 4-Disc one debuts in November
NEW LINE Home Entertainment will release a two-disc LORD OF THE RINGS: THE FELLOWSHIP OF THE RING on August 6th, followed by a 4-disc extended version on November 12th.
While the initial 2-disc release offers 3 documentaries, 15 featurettes from the website, a 10-minute preview of LOTR: THE TWO TOWERS, trailers, TV spots, and more, you’ll have to hold out until November for the extended version which integrates 30 minutes of additional footage into the film.
A premium version of the Extended edition featuring packaging designed by illustrator Alan Lee, collectible bookends, and more, will also be offered in limited quantities.
LOTR: THE TWO TOWERS opens in theaters on December 18th.
