Former Soundgarden singer Chris Cornell has quit as frontman for the untitled band he formed with members of Rage Against the Machine.
That announcement comes just days after the group was confirmed as a headliner for this summer’s Ozzfest tour. No reason was given for the split, but Cornell’s manager says there are still plans to release the album that the group recorded over the past year.
