FIRST UP- STILL NO “STRANGE BREW” BUT WE HAVE “UHF”?!?!??!
MGM has heeded the of the Weird Al brigade, and on June 4, will release a special edition of Al’s cult fave “UHF.” Featuring new anamorphic widescreen and full screen transfers, the disc also sports plenty of great extras, including a new audio commentary by Al and Jay Levey plus surprise special guests, a new making-of documentary, deleted scenes hosted by Al, a still gallery with over 200 images, the “UHF” music video, production notes, and the original theatrical teaser and trailer.
THE SIMPSONS SEASON TWO, COMING IN JUNE FOR ME AND YOU
“The Simpsons: The Complete Second Season” will arriving on June 4 from Fox Home Entertainment, the set features all season two episodes in full frame and 2.0 stereo, along with plenty of extras including audio commentary for each episode, an interview with Matt Groening, an all-new featurette on the creation of an episode, an Emmy Awards Report, two still galleries, promos, and more hidden features.
STILL NO “BRAIN CANDY”, BUT YOU HAVE TO START SOMEWHERE
The first ever Kids In The Hall DVD will be released on March 16, but it is probably not the one you were expecting. “Catch the insanity” with The Kids In The Hall: The 2000 Reunion Tour from Music Video Distributors, Dave Foley’s documentary on the backstage life of those zany kids. Presented in full frame and 2.0 stereo, extras include an audio commentary featuring all five Kids plus special guest stars Andy Richter, Mike Myers, Jason Priestly, Matt Stone and Trey Parker.
