Homer Would Drink 500 Beers
Animated couch potato HOMER SIMPSON is set to sing his own version of THE PROCLAIMERS’ hit single 500 MILES. But instead of travelling a distance for a loved one, Homer will sing about 500 BEERS, if American television bosses and the band’s management can reach a deal. A friend of the band says, “They’ve had a few celebrity fans down through the years, but Homer is king. As far as big name endorsements go, you can’t top it.”
