Jennifer Lawrence will have to wait till next November to see ‘Dumb and Dumber To’
Dumb and Dumber superfan Jennifer Lawrence may have scored herself a plum cameo alongside her comedy idols, but she and the rest of us are going to have to wait another year to finally see Dumb and Dumber To.
The sequel to Peter and Bobby Farrelly’s 1994 cult classic will hit theaters Nov. 14, 2014. Universal Pictures announced the release plans Monday.
Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels are reprising their roles as the affable Lloyd and Harry, and joining newcomers Laurie Holden, Rob Riggle, and Kathleen Turner for the movie. Lawrence plays the part of a young Kathleen Turner.
November 2014 is already packed with tentpole releases. Dumb and Dumber shares its release date with Fury, Sony’s World War II drama starring Brad Pitt. The week prior will see the opening of Christopher Nolan’s star-studded Interstellar for Paramount and Disney/Marvel’s Big Hero 6. And, Lawrence’s The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 1 opens the following week on Nov. 21.
