Reps for the surviving Beatles and internationally acclaimed performing troupe Cirque du Soleil in talks to stage a musical production of the group’s 1968 psychedelic cartoon Yellow Submarine in London, the Sunday Times reports. The show would feature acrobats, clowns, aerial contortionists and music, of course, by the Beatles.

Police raiding the Hollywood Hills home of actor Paul Reubens (aka Pee-wee Herman) earlier this month, following up on accusations of child pornography. His publicist says police seized Reubens’ “photography and erotic art collections” and that the actor is the victim of a blackmail attempt.

He’s Alright!

Comedian Rodney Dangerfield back home Wednesday after being released from Los Angeles’ Cedar-Sinai Medical Center last night, six days after suffering a mild heart attack. Doctors say the heart attack was caused by the collapse of a small artery when Dangerfield had double-bypass surgery in March 2000, and the problem can be corrected with medication.
