It looks like the folks at Buena Vista Home Entertainment have decided to give Kevin Smith fans a little more than expected. The upcoming special edition of Jay and Silent Bob will have quite a few more features than originally announced. Thanks BVHE!

Coming in Dolby Digital 5.1 and anamorphic widescreen, the film comes with an audio commentary with Kevin Smith, Scott Mosier and Jason Mewes, a behind the scenes featurette, deleted scenes with intros by Kevin Smith and guests, the Afroman “I Got High” and Stroke 9 “Kick Some Ass” music videos, still galleries, cast and crew filmographies, The Secret Stash with intros, a gag reel with intro, internet trailers with intro, TV spots, Comedy Central?s Reel Comedy, a featurettes with Morris Day and DVD-ROM content including a screenplay viewer, and a guide to Morris Day and The Time.

This truly packed DVD is still set to be released on February 26th, 2002, with a retail price of $29.99.

STAR TREK: THE NEXT GENERATION Is Coming As A Box Set

The first season of STAR TREK: THE NEXT GENERATION will be released in a seven-disc DVD box set on March 26th, 2002.

The PARAMOUNT Home Entertainment release features four fulscreen episodes per disc, with Dolby Surround audio and a new Dolby Digital 5.1 surround mix.

Additional highlights in the collection include a handful of documentaries relating to the relaunch of the show, and bits of cast and crew commentary on the episodes. Future season box sets will follow on a bi-monthly basis until the final season is released in March of 2003.

Oz Is Coming!

First Season of OZ Offered on DVD

HBO Home Video has announced plans to release the entire first season of its prison drama OZ on DVD on March 19th, 2002. Retailing at $64.98, the box set will include deleted scenes and audio commentary tracks from creator Tom Fontana and star Lee Tergesen.
