Mike Myers Considers Keith Moon Film
“Austin Powers” star Mike Myers is discussing the possibility of starring in a new movie about The Who drummer Keith Moon.
Myers and The Who frontman Roger Daltrey have discussed plans for a forthcoming film, and the 39-year-old comic actor said Monday he hoped it would be made.
“I have talked to Roger Daltrey about the possibility of a film. I think Keith Moon was a fascinating character,” said Myers, whose new movie, “Austin Powers in Goldmember,” is scheduled for release later this month.
Moon was 32 when he died of a drug overdose in 1978.
Daltrey has long wanted to turn Moon’s life story into a Hollywood film and said Myers would be perfect for the part.
“Mike is a genius. I can really see him as Keith. He’s amazing when you meet him, so clever,” Daltrey said.

Seeing Her Electric Youth
Apparently PLAYBOY Magazine now wants former 1980s teen queen Deborah “Debbie” Gibson to do a pictorial.
Following the success of Tiffany’s photo shoot for Playboy last year, it is rumoured that fellow 1980s mall queen Debbie Gibson (left) has also been approached to disrobe for Hugh Hefner’s soft-porn publication.
Apparently, Gibson is demanding vast amounts of money to get her kit off, and Tiffers is already deeply peeved that they have already offered her one-time rival more than they paid her.
At the time, Tiffany actually tried to prevent Gibson from following her into the Playboy studios. ‘I am the first teen star to ever do it, and I think it probably wouldn’t have the same effect,’ she said. We’ll see.

Calista Flockheart (ALLY MCBEAL) may be lacing up her hiking boots for INDIANA JONES IV.
Says a source, “Harrison Ford had only one demand when he was approached about doing a fourth Indiana Jones movie – that Calista be written into the new movie. Luckily, Steven Spielberg and George Lucas loved the idea. They think Calista will be a perfect romantic interest for Indiana.”
Apparently Calista also solved a problem for the two filmmakers. Added the source, “The Indy team had no idea what to do with Indy for the fourth movie. Bringing Calista on board gave them inspiration and they dreamed up the whole story in just a few hours. Getting Calista into the movie was the kick-in-the-pants the guys needed.”

Angelina talks about her hopes for TOMB RAIDER 2.
It seems that after initial reports saying that she wouldn’t appear in a second film, Angelina Jolie has appearantly signed up for a sequel to Tomb Raider because she’ll be able to try out the latest underwater technology and train with circus troupe Cirque Du Soleil.
The actress played Lara Croft in the 2001 action adventure and had reservations about enhancements that made her seem more curvy, so she’s stipulating that the sequel will be an underwater adventure that will see her character looking more athletic. She says, “I want to be much, much stronger. I would love to train with Cirque Du Soleil. Lara Croft should be more athletic and cut. “In the beginning of the first movie, we added padding to make me one cup size bigger. Also, I put on about 20 pounds for the role. And then, there were days when I was on my period that I was that much bigger. “I’d also like to go underwater in the next movie. I’m just curious about what gadgets can be used underwater – it’s like James Bond.
So I guess we’ll see.
