Frank Miller returns to BATMAN with the three-issue THE DARK KNIGHT STRIKES AGAIN miniseries starting this week at DC Comics. Set three years after THE DARK KNIGHT RETURNS, the story finds Batman and his army of Gotham Knights waging a new war on a diseased world that’s become completely lost. BILL & TED’S EXCELLENT ADVENTURE (DVD)- One of the great stupid films of all time bows on DVD for the first time.

BILL & TED’S BOGUS JOURNEY (DVD)- And so does it’s good but not as great as the original sequel.

PEARL HARBOR (VHSs & DVD)- Yes, this year’s worst film, that many people (other than me) actually liked, comes home with a rash of features and such. It’s still not a great film, but it looks and sounds great on DVD.

Newsweek movie critic Davis Ansen says that “Lord Of The RIngs” will be a blockbuster. He also predicted that this year, Christmas would occur on December 25th, and that the year 2002 would begin on January 1st. Wow, move over Nostradamus!
