Tell me if you can think of sex while imagining Joan Collins having sex!

Collins: Sex Preserves Beauty

LONDON, England (Reuters) - For really old 69-year-old really old looking British actress Joan Collins, sex is one of the best and cheapest beauty treatments there is.

The actress, currently on husband number five, said she was not a fan of plastic surgery, telling BBC World Service in an interview: "I think liposuction is something so horrible -- they have so many disasters with it."

"Dolly Parton has face like a doll, you know, it doesn't look right to me," said the actress, currently promoting her new book "Joan's Way -- looking good, feeling great."

Collins said she was convinced that sex was "one of the best and cheapest beauty treatments there is."

One word- "Ewwwwwwwww!"

Ozzy Shocked By Queen (Not The Band)

LONDON, England (Reuters) -- Rock's Wild Man Ozzy Osbourne freaked out when he met Queen Elizabeth and can't remember a word she said to him.

Osbourne, whose outrageous stunts have ranged from biting the head off a bat to urinating on the Alamo while dressed as a woman, was introduced to Queen Elizabeth at this summer's Golden Jubilee pop concert at Buckingham Palace.

He confessed to Britain's Radio Times: "I freaked out. I assumed I was the in-house joke. The Queen spoke to me but I haven't a clue what she said. Look at photographs -- I'm in shock."

Of his nervous disposition he said: "I hyperventilate opening a box of chocolates. I'm the most nervous guy in the world, a frightened little man on red alert from when I wake until I go to sleep. I was born with fear."

And the star of the expletive-filled MTV reality show about his zany family is fully aware how fleeting fame can be. "I'm flavor of the month, hottest ticket in town, but eventually we'll be yesterday's news. Then I'll have serenity again," he said.

Even though I have all of these songs already, I am very excited about this release!

Nirvana Best-Of Collects 14 Songs

The upcoming Nirvana collection, much-hyped due to the inclusion of the previously unreleased "You Know You're Right," will feature 14 songs overall, according to the Universal Music sales catalog. The album arrives October 29.

Tracks include the song responsible for the former Seattle band's breakout success, "Smells Like Teen Spirit," and three others from the album Nevermind. Five songs from the In Utero era are also featured while three others date back to the band's pre-Geffen Sub Pop days. A cover of David Bowie's "The Man Who Sold The World" is also featured.

The complete track listing is: "You Know You're Right," "About A Girl," "Been A Son," "Sliver," "Smells Like Teen Spirit," "Come As You Are," "Lithium," "In Bloom," "Heart Shaped Box," "Pennyroyal Tea," "Rape Me," "Dumb," "All Apologies," and "The Man Who Sold The World."

Carey hopes new album is a charm

Mariah Carey's hoping her fans will be charmed by her first album since her nervous breakdown last year.

She's just revealed her follow-up to the critically panned album "Glitter" will be titled "Charmbracelet," reports MTV.com. It's her first album since signing with hip-hop label Island Def Jam earlier this year.

"Charm bracelets have always had a personal and sentimental significance for me," Carey explains in a statement. "Charms are like pieces of yourself that you pass on to other people, items that tell your story and that can be shared like a song.

"The bracelet represents the foundation of this album, a body of work that encompasses many feelings."

Her first single from the album will be "Through The Rain."

Guests on the album include Justin Timberlake, Jay-Z, and Cam'ron. Timberlake added verses and harmonies to the track "Yours." Although the song's producer Jimmy Jam is convinced it's going to be a major hit for Carey, she hasn't decided if the final version on her album will include her duet with Timberlake or not.

The album is set to be released on December 10.

New Foo for yoo!

Today's New Music Releases

Okay, so here we are! A Tuesday that will see some new CD's appear in your local store that ARE ACTUALLY WORTH YOUR MONEY. Not all of this day's new discs ARE ACTUALLY WORTH YOUR MONEY, but some of them are. Let me tell you which ones:

FOO FIGHTERS- ONE BY ONE

Dave Grohl is on his way to becoming the hardest-working man in show business. The musical multitasker somehow squeezed out the fourth Foo Fighters record in between drumming for Queens of the Stone Age, masterminding a punk-rock supergroup project called Probot and negotiating a truce with Courtney Love for the release of Nirvana's greatest hits. Here, Grohl consistently puts forth straightforward, stripped-down rock that is neither ironic nor pandering--a fine line between Cheap Trick and cheap tricks. The sludged-out stoner rock of QOTSA infiltrates a couple of tracks, but it's all about arena-sized hooks, whisper-to-a-scream song structures and the unmistakable feeling that Grohl rocks out because, well, it's still fun. What a revolutionary concept! One By One is easily one of 2002's best!

SANTANA- SHAMAN

With 1999's "Supernatural" Carlos Santana bucked a 20-year commercial dry spell by enlisting a group of youthful guests to rejuvenate his hocus-pocus guitar playing. The result moved 25 million units and won him an armful of Grammys. So, is it any wonder the follow-up sticks closely to that winning blueprint? Rob Thomas has been replaced by the younger, sexier Michelle Branch on the first Latin-pop single, "The Game of Love." The rest of the guest roster reads like an awards-show performance lineup: Dido (more on her in a moment), Placido Domingo, Musiq, Seal...the list goes on and on. The differences between collaborators can be jarring (like going from screamers P.O.D. to the quilted softness of Dido) and only leave about half of an album of pure mystic guitar playing for the old-school hippie fans. But even as Santana's magic fingers sometimes struggle for a common thread here, they still do plenty of good work. The song with Dido (Feels Like Fire) is actually the first piece of new music from the British Babe since 1999. If this tune is any indication of where she is headed (musically), I hope we get more from her soon.

And then there are the rest of the new music releases for Tuesday, October 22, 2002:

Cooper Promises Scary Halloween

PHOENIX (AP) - Alice Cooper promises to make Halloween even scarier this year.

The rock singer, who has been frightening audiences for years with gruesome concert performances that feature guillotines lopping off heads and infant dolls gushing blood, has opened his latest haunted house attraction.

"The whole key of our haunted house is to scare people in many different ways," said house director Steve Kopelman. "And you try to get them when they least expect it."

Alice Cooper's Nightmare: The Breakdown, which opened Oct. 2 and runs through Nov. 2, is the sequel to 2001's Alice Cooper's Nightmare, the Phoenix shock rocker's first foray into the haunted house business. Cooper executives first came to Kopelman three years ago to create the attraction.

This year, the effects are better, Kopelman said, with lifelike props, high-tech robots and computer movement systems manned by the same company used by major theme parks.

The house's budget has also been increased, and a second house has debuted in San Antonio. House operators hope Cooper-themed attractions will be showing up in other areas of the country for future Halloweens.

Cooper is touring and won't actually be at the houses, but there are about 30 actors at each one to handle the task of frightening the roughly 1,000 people who go through each night.

It's without Bobby Brown as they can't be sure that he will be out of jail

New Edition Reunites for Album, Tour

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - New Edition, the first group to popularize the fusion of pop, R&B and hip-hop known as "New Jack Swing" plans to release its first album in seven years early next year, Sean "P. Diddy" Combs' Bad Boy record label announced on Monday.

The group parted ways in 1987, but reunited to put out the 1996 album "Home Again," which made it to Number 1 on the R&B charts.

The group's smooth falsetto sound spawned hits like "Candy Girl," "Mr. Telephone Man" and "Cool It Now" and established them as the kings of black bubblegum rock in the 1980s.

Their stratospheric success, especially among teen-age girls, prompted music studios to try to replicate them with clones like the Backstreet Boys (news - web sites), Boyz II Men and New Kids on the Block.

The reconstituted New Edition, minus Bobby Brown, plans a 2003 tour, album and a bio-pic to celebrate the 20th anniversary of "Candy Girl," the 1983 hit that made stars of the boys from the Boston projects who began singing together for pocket money. The record for Combs was expected to be out in next spring.

Further details were not disclosed.

The members of New Edition -- Brown, Ricky Bell, Michael Bivins, Ronnie DeVoe, Johnny Gill and Ralph Tresvant -- sold a combined 31 million albums as soloists and bandmates and laid the foundation for the musical style called "New Jack Swing."
