Grohl to drum on new QOTSA album
Foo Fighters leader and former Nirvana timekeeper Dave Grohl is lending his drum skills to the upcoming album by Queens Of The Stone Age, currently being recorded in L.A. In the current issue of metal magazine Kerrang!, Grohl calls the disc, tentatively titled Songs For The Deaf, "my favourite album that I've ever played drums on." Foo Fighters' next album is due out sometime in 2002.

THE MATRIX producer Joel Silver has confirmed internet rumors at sites including COMING ATTRACTIONS that the third film in his trilogy will be entitled THE MATRIX REVOLUTIONS. THE MATRIX RELOADED is scheduled for release in May 2003.
Michelle Williams to Quit Dawson's Creek
DAWSON'S CREEk beauty MICHELLE WILLIAMS has hinted she'll be leaving the popular TV series soon. The blonde actress, who plays JEN LINDLEY in the teen show, has let slip that she's had enough of working on the same series. Michelle says, "It's been too long. Four years. I know I've been really lucky, but we shoot nine months of the year, so it's a really big commitment. "When you're 21, and it's taken up nearly five years playing this one character, that's nearly a quarter of your life. That's mindboggling to me! It's a weird gig!"
