Simon & Garfunkel tour postponed
Simon and Garfunkel’s latest reunion tour has ended with the sounds of silence.
The iconic folk duo have indefinitely postponed their Old Friends in Concert tour, it was announced Thursday afternoon. The tour, originally booked for April, had already been pushed back until July so 68-year-old Garfunkel could recover from a vocal paresis.
ìI do feel bad about disrupting so many peopleís plans,” Garfunkel said in a statement, “but, as I continue to mend, I canít yet bring my A game to a tour, and I would not perform for you with anything less.î
Doctors have reportedly said Garfunkel will make a full recovery eventually, but they cannot give him an exact timeline.
