Gillian Anderson Confirms More X-Files
Former celebrity Gillian Anderson recently spoke out about that long rumored X-Files movie sequel and she assured everyone that yes, itís really really really happening this time. No really!
Youíll remember that last week her X-Files co-star David Duchovny started talking about the sequel again, and now Gillian has spoken to Empire Magazine and added her voice to his. She says, ìEvery year or two they talk about it again, but it seems like it might be for real this time. Somehow it seems like somebodyís really serious about it. I know that Chrisí lawsuit with Fox is over, so maybe now it can be done.î
She didnít offer up much information on what it would be about, just insists it will be scary and that she doesnít ìthink theyíre interested in touching on any of the conspiracy stuff.î Wait a minuteÖ isnít X-Files nothing but conspiracy stuff? I mean, isnít the the whole point of the franchise? Itís not A Nightmare on Elm Street. Itís creepy, scary, conspiracy stuff. Itís aliens and secret government cover ups. How can you make an X-Files movie without ìtouching on any of the conspiracy stuffî?
Iím still not convinced the movie is actually happening. Iím filing X-Files 2 next to Indiana Jones 4 in my ìIíll believe it when I see itî file.
