Alba, Christensen sign for thriller
Jessica Alba (“Fantastic Four”) and Hayden Christensen (“Star Wars”) will join forces in the thriller “Awake,” Variety reports.
The film, directed by newcomer Joby Harold, centres around a man (Christensen) who suffers “anesthetic awareness” whereby he finds himself awake during surgery.
Alba will play his wife who must wrestle with her own demons.
Shooting will begin in October in New York City.
Alba can next be seen in action film “Into the Blue,” due in theatres Sept. 30.
